If you have not done MAJOR service now is the time!
    1. A new timing belt is a MUST, you have waited too long. Usually the water pump is also replaced at this time, whether bad or not, because it is inside the engine too and driven by the new timing belt.

    2. New spark plugs. These don’t last 5 years.
    3. Have your battery tested for amperage and holding a charge. Batteries last about 4 years. Yours may be too weak for next winter?
    4. Your garage people will hook the car up to a computer that reads the performance of all electronic “sensors”. Get ready for a bad one or two….
    5. Have the exhaust pipes inspected. After 5 years, you probably have a rusty spot or two that will develop into a loud noisy hole very soon.
