I really want a VW Beetle convertible for me and my Daughter. Has any one had a convertible and a small child. Do you recommend it? What r the pros and cons….
I currently drive a Chevy Alanche, its just me, my daughter and mys husband, he has his own toy car and i think maybe the beetle would be nice for me and my daughter for late summer evening rides.

hi my daughter had one she fined it to much messing putting the baby in and out and also not much boot for trolly and shoping bags but if your daughter is of walking age it will not be to bad hope this helps and good look

VW beetles are about as big as a fridge. I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone, much less someone with a family.

I got rid of my two door sports car when I had a baby. the in and out was too hard with two doors. We have a Toyota Rav4 that is GREAT fun to drive and wonderful for a couple of kids.

VW Beetle is a mechanical disaster….

You should look into the BMW MINI COOPER, great car almost in the same price range

I’ve actually found the Beetles to be pretty roomy on the inside (more space than a mini for sure). if you’re taking a booster seat in and out of the car a lot the two door aspect might be a pain but if you leave it in it’d be fine, plus soon enough she’ll be sitting in a normal seat anyway so it’d be a temporary situation.

They’re very safe cars though and if you maintain it it’ll run very well for a while.

They have a decent amount of space in the trunk. I wouldn’t have problem fitting all my groceries in it.

Your 2 year old will be chucking sippy cups at police cruisers. Things will blow out of her hands and you’ll have a tantrum. To much input for a 2 year old. Wait a couple years
