How to trace a South African VW Campervan?

I have recently found a picture of my grandparents VW camper, having one myself I want to try and trace it, I have the SA number plate.
Any Ideas?

    Either get in touch with the South African motor vehicle dept. or ask around on SA forums to see if anyone in the country can help you.
